MIRECO works toward the protection of coal briquette consumers and ensuring fair trade among coal briquette dealers. It inspects 15 percent of the coal being transported in Korea and conducts quality checks into coal briquette factories nine times per year in a move to ensure the fair execution of the funds for stabilizing coal and coal briquette prices.
